Christian came aboard the Adventure Camps family in June of 2015. A New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island, Christian moved to the Bay Area to pursue working with children. Being the oldest sibling and cousin in a large family, Christian has spent his life growing up playing with and being around kids. After meeting Rory, Christian knew he had found a new home at Adventure Camps. The playful energy, spontaneous approach, and outdoor experience that Adventure Camps brings was a perfect match for Christian’s personality and passions. Having nearly ten years experience working with children by the age of 25, Adventure Camps and Christian had found a perfect fit for one another. Christian’s past work experience includes working as a camp counselor with special needs children at Camp Kehilla, camp counselor and head of sports at Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, camp counselor at Lake Grove Summer Camp, and first grade teacher’s assistant at Cesar Batalla school in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Prior to joining Adventure Camps, Christian was a primary counselor at Outreach in Bellport, New York, working with adolescents struggling with drug and alcohol abuse. In 2012, Christian received his Bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University in Sociology and in 2015 received his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University.
As Director, Christian is responsible for the day to day activities of all the camps.
