FAQ

1:

What is Adventure Camps?

Adventure Camps is a completely mobile day day. We do not have a building or office, we operate strictly out of our vans.

2:

Where do you go?

Everyday is different. For Summer Camps, we love to explore the BayArea's wonderful parks, playgrounds, and beaches. We visit a range of places like Coyote Point Park in San Mateo to Tilden Park in Berkeley and in between. For most School Year and Vacation Camps, mainly frequenting San Francisco, we explore Golden Gate Park, the Forts (Fort Miley, Funston, Mason, Point, etc.), Beaches, Playgrounds, etc. Check out all the great places we visit here!

3:

What is your age range?

We accept kids as young 4 and as old as 13. Although we frequently have alumni campers 14 and older coming back to camp as helpers and junior counselors.

4:

My child can't swim at all, what is your safety system?

Most of our kids aren't water safe and we are fully aware of their needs. Though our camps swim at facilities where lifeguards are present at all times, we recognize that every one of our swimmers are our own responsibility and we lifeguard as well. Within there own safely limits, we make sure our campers are safe, comfortable and having fun!
